‘Ignacio was invaluable in helping me through a very difficult time. After my husband died, I found myself in a situation where I didn’t know where to turn for help and buried my head in the sand.  I was struggling to cope with Spanish Lawyers, bills to be paid, raising my daughter and the overwhelming emotions involved in knowing there was a possibility I could end up in debt. I had been in contact for just over 7 ½ years with authorities in Spain having little success.

After searching online, I found Ignacio of James and George Collie (being the only firm in Scotland able to provide a service in Spanish Law) who kindly agreed to take on my case. The fact that he is Spanish and speaks excellent English made it easy for me to understand what was happening. After my initial meeting with Ignacio he agreed to take on my case and kept me continually in the loop, answering all of my questions, reviewing all of my paperwork for negotiating with the authorities in Spain, and advising of latest progress. His encouragement that we could work things out let me see there was light at the end of the tunnel and thanks to him, my case was finalized successfully after just 5 months on 10th January 2017 – something I had been trying to achieve for the last 7 ½ years.
